Bluetooth discovery
NearFind uses Bluetooth scanning to detect nearby discoverable devices. Signal strength is processed to estimate whether a device may be closer or farther away.
No exact GPS location
The app does not provide exact GPS position, physical direction, or precise distance. Walls, cases, orientation, and interference can change the signal.
Local information
No account is required. When you save a device, its name, local Bluetooth identifier, category, favorite status, and recent search information are stored locally on your device.
Subscriptions
RevenueCat receives the anonymous app user identifier and purchase status needed to provide Premium. Apple or Google processes payment. NearFind does not receive full card details. Development mock purchases never contact a store.
Analytics
The current app does not send Bluetooth identifiers, device names, manufacturer payloads, or search history to a general analytics service. Purchase lifecycle diagnostics never include transaction identifiers or purchase secrets.
Your control
You can clear saved devices, search history, preferences, and other local data from Settings. Store purchase records remain governed by Apple or Google.
